All The Users Types on Monday.Com Software

Teams need great software that can power them through all the project tasks and help manage workflows with ease. Monday.com software is one option that is simple, intuitive, and flexible to the user’s needs. Users can organize workflows, adjust their requirements, maintain transparency and collaborate efficiently using the platform. There are several user types on Monday.com software to help make teamwork more efficient and productive.

Administrators

An administrator on Monday.com software is someone who has all the authority and power to oversee the content. They can manage users, boards, security, and billing matters. One or more team members enjoy administrative privileges so they are always aware of what the team members are doing. They are the ones responsible for keeping everyone in check.

Team Members

All teammates, employees, department personnel are team members on Monday.com software demo. They are the ones who run the organization and contribute to projects. These members have access to all mainboards and can be invited to join shareable as well as private boards. Team members can be categorized into members and viewers and both of them have different permissions and access privileges.

Members

The member is a team member who can edit the content on the mainboards. They can also create their boards and invite other members to them. A team can invite as many members as their plan allows them to. A standard plan for example allows companies to add up to 10 users and all of them can be members.

Viewers

Viewers are another type of team member that can be invited to use the Monday.com demo. Like the members, they have access to the mainboards and can also collaborate on shareable or private boards if they are invited. The only difference between them and regular members is that they can only view the content and do not have permission to edit it.

Guest Users

Guest users are external members of the team and can include clients, freelancers, vendors, and consultants. They are usually those who do not own a company email and use a separate email client. Guests can only be invited to shareable boards. They have all the privileges of a regular member for the boards they are invited to on Monday.com software. They will not be able to view any of the main and private boards to protect the privacy of the company. This helps teams collaborate with external parties with ease. They can maintain the security of any information stored on their main and private boards.

Board Owners

The board owner is the user who has created a board or one of the subscribers of the board listed as the co-owner by the creator. Board ownership comes with separate privileges and it is an important feature when setting restrictions. They can add rules and restrict editing for other members who do not own the board. There is a permissions button on all boards from where the privacy, permissions, and accessibility settings can be customized. You can also check out the Monday.com demo.
